Dear Sir, thanks for all your work on this great website.
I tried to download these three films Xich lo (1995), Unagi (1997), Hundstage (2001)
from files.fm (1fichier not available in my country)
and the answer was always: “Direct download limit reached. Please, login or signup to directly download this file”.
It has nothing to do with me, since I have tried in different days, and I have dowloaded many other movies from files.fm and your website without any problem. Is it something you can fix?

Thanks a lot for letting me know about this issue, I had no idea this was happening but I reached out to filesfm support and indeed they confirmed that once certain files that have high traffic once they go above certain amount of downloads they restrict access and force visitors to create an account in order to download the files, it’s incredibly fucked up, I’m already paying like 30 euros a month to them for my premium account with big storage and they do this? It’s terrible, not even Mega does this of forcing people to create an account to download, even if it’s a free account, so right now i’m in the process of transfering every movie that’s hosted on files to Gofile, but I’m starting with the files that are restricted already as the rest don’t have these issues. Xich lo, Hundstage and Unagi have Gofile links placed already so you can download them now from Gofile which works much better btw, let me know if you have any issues.

Hi,everybody’s asking for really old films but mine is a really recent one and hard to find,obscure short film. It’s Freelance (2018) or Free/Lance (2018). I’ve provided the IMDB link. I’ve been trying to find this film everywhere for weeks now and done every digging possible and asked a lot of people but unfortunately it’s just impossible to find. The closest thing I could find was a deleted Vimeo link of the film. So this is a rare and obscure film. Please,if you manage to find this short film,it would be greatly appreaciated. It’s a copy of the restored version but you’ll notice that the file is very small for an HD file, not even 300mb, I grabbed it from Youtube and synched English subs, I wish there was a better copy that’s not so compressed but for now this is the best one, I think it’s watchable and still better than any old DVDRips floating around, hope you can still enjoy it despite being far from optimal quality.

You’re right. It was very thoughtless of me and should have known better.
I got greedy and carried away because I haven’t had any access to this site for the past 8 months

While all dead links have to be reuploaded I’d prefer if you don’t post more than 10-15 at a time max and wait until I reupload all of those to request again, as you can see there’s quite a few people asking for reuploads here so if you request so many at once it causes a big delay for everyone else so I have to ask you to not pass the 10-15 requests mark per post. Thank you, no need to repost again, I’ve reuploaded the first 10 until “Ritual dos sadicos”, those are all back online now, will continue with the next 10-15 within the next few days.

Hi Jon, can you please re-up Circus Boys (1989)? I notice that most of the films that were put back online earlier this year are offline again now. This film for instance was re-upped in March 2025 but the file is now deleted. I though the intent was to have the films online permanently as you said that you wanted to eventually have all 3000 filsm online?

And about files being deleted, yes, unfortunately I had to delete over 1tb worth of files from files.fm which really pissed me off because I spent a lot of time reuploading those but it was the right thing to do, I didn’t know that files.fm was asking users to create an account to download files (just a free account but still) which I thought was a terrible decision from them, I’m paying them a premium to have more storage and they force users that are giving them traffic to make an account? it’s so bad from a data collection point of view and it’s very annoying for the users so I decided that I wasn’t going to pay them as much as I was paying and moved a portion of archive to gofile which doesn’t do any of this bullshit, it’s cheaper and also offers higher download speed, there’s still about 2TB worth of files that are still on files.fm so not every files.fm link is dead now but yes there’s a considerable amount that require reuploading, which I’m doing pretty much on a daily basis, if you find any other dead links just comment on this page and I’ll reupload them on gofile asap. I know it’s annoying having to ask for reuploads trust me if there’s someone who’s tired of all this reuploading is me but it was the right thing to do, hopefully this will be last time I’m reuploading old files. Thanks for understanding.
