Note: Many thanks to Michael for sending me a copy of this taped theatre production, not very good quality for this one but watchable, it was transferred from a VHS recording of the original Showtime airing back in 1982.

Thank you for providing Morning’s At Seven, 1982. I also taped this when it aired, then transferred to DVD. But after disposing of the VHS, realized the transfer company did not include the final 8 minutes of the play. I’ve since searched the internet and now found Morning’s At Seven, again. This is an exceptional cast.
Proves that a film doesn’t need to be HD quality to be enjoyable. Paul Osborn’s 1939 play received a Tony Award for Best Broadway Revival in 1980 and this video production presents the cast of that Broadway revival. Among Osborn’s screenplays would be the adaptation of John Steinbeck’s East of Eden (1955) and Wild River (1960) for his friend Elia Kazan,

I don’t think it was ever released on home video unfortunately.
I to recorded this when it was aired in Buffalo N.Y. on PBS on VHS . I lost the vhf recording with my VHS player do to a theft in my home. I searched for years to get this production to no avail. When searching on you tube to find this was a god send. I love this production and watch it often thank you ,thank you. Bill Schmidt
