Volpone (1941)

Volpone, an elderly Venetian, connives with his money-crazed servant to convince his greedy friends that he is dying, knowing that each will try to curry favor with him in order to be named his heir. He is inundated with valuable gifts, and soon finds himself entangled deeper and deeper in a web of lies.

Note: I spent several hours fixing the subtitles to be in sync with this rip which is the best looking copy I’ve been able to find, I also extended duration of a lot of lines since they were too short not giving enough reading time, they’re still not perfect but MUCH better than what they were originally, hope you guys like the film, it’s pretty funny.
