A man who has worked his whole life to become wealthy is determined to bring his son up with everything he has never had as a youngster. Needless to say the young lad grows up to be a spoiled brat by the time he reaches college age and wreaks havoc on anyone who stands in his way. In the meantime, his father has fallen in love with a beautiful artist who has his best interest at heart. The problem is that the son also develops feelings for her. This film was adapted form the popular Howard Spring novel.

The mayor of wild and woolly mining town Panamint, in San Francisco to fetch a preacher for the new church, happens upon young Philip Pharo, as handy with his fists as with a sermon. Arrived, it appears to Philip that some of the town’s “bad” folks are better than the “better element.” When he sets out to better the lives of the miners and bring flagrant sinners into his flock, the “godly” folks are of course outraged. What form will their retribution take?

Steve Kalkus, the defeated racketeer-politician, has Earl Carroll and several of his acts kidnapped, figuring the kidnapping coup will cause Jones to be laughed out of office. In Carroll’s absence his assistant, Ramona Lisa, and his press agent, Barney Nelson put on the show themselves with the remaining talent, the chorus girls and also pressing into the entertainment cigarette girls, cloakroom girls, the doorman and others including oil heiresses Brenda Gusher and Cobina Gusher.

He went on to establish Australian National Airways and set many air distance and endurance records. Director Ken G.
