Harry Arno is a Miami Beach bookie who finds himself in trouble with his mob bosses for reasons he can’t quite figure out. When an assailant attempts to kill him, he decides that it’s time to retire, so he gives Raylan the slip and relocates to Greece. He gets lonely and so he invites his girlfriend Doris to join him. He’s afraid that his enemies might follow her to him, and he’s right. The story then shifts to Raylan, who does his earnest best to get to the bottom of the story.
Matty is an actor whose career is on the fast track; however, he’s not able to handle the pressures of life in Hollywood, so he heads to Miami to recharge his emotional batteries. Given Miami’s night life, this might not have been the wisest choice he could have made, as he’s soon sunk deep in a sea of drink and drugs.

Magically, a young woman appears, helping the two clean the rug. This young woman belongs to the clan whose history is depicted in the design of the gabbeh, and the rug recounts the story of the courtship of the young woman by a stranger from the clan.
In this parody of western tropes set in 1875, a powerful cattle rancher wants to get small folks’ land. Fortunately, a mysterious stranger shows up to help the meek.
Right after she moves in with him, Frederico’s new girlfriend Francesca sends him back to her former boyfriend’s apartment to fetch her something she forgot – but he’s surprised to find him lying there – dead. Assuming that Francesca killed him and sent him for cleaning up, he cuts him up in pieces, puts him in a suitcase and tries to get rid of it… but he has a hard time finding a suitably quiet place.
Horty, a French foundry worker, wins a contest and is sent to see the sailing of the Titanic. In England, Marie, saying she is a chambermaid on the Titanic and cannot get a room, asks to share his room. They do, chastely; when he awakens, she is gone, but he sees her at the sailing and gets a photo of her. When he returns home, he suspects that his wife Zoe has been sleeping with Simeon, the foundry owner. Horty goes to the bar, where his friends get him drunk and he starts telling an erotic fantasy of what happened with him and Marie, drawing a larger audience each night.
