Lieutenant Johnson, a U. S. Air Force pilot, on the tip of Alaska, a few miles from the Bering Straits from Siberia, helps foil a Soviet plot to test a new secret weapon by loyal Alaskan Eskimos. He is aided by Sergeant Koovuk, an Alsaka native Eskimo also in the U.S. military service. Along the way there is an ice-floe evacuation, an air-ice rescue and a fight with a polar bear.

After burying stolen treasure on a desert island, a pirate shoots his partner and leaves him for dead. After recovering, the man finds a 10-year-old boy on the island. Years later, the pirates meet again and shoot it out.
Roman Emperor Octavian rules the empire from Rome, and his rival Marc Antony has taken Egyptian queen Cleopatra as his lover and seized the eastern empire, ruling it from Alexandria. Octavian intends to regain his empire by landing his army at Alexandria, besieging the city and capturing and executing the pair. However, while Octavian’s army is bigger than Marc Antony’s forces, he and Cleopatra have allies who can come to their aid. Both sides prepare for a final showdown.

Bill Rourk, an ex-Coast Guard crew chief, is tricked into volunteering for the Coact Guard Officer’s Training School, following the Japanese sneak-attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Rourk’s preference would be to keep the higher-paying and more-secure job in a civilian shipyard. Coadt Guard Commander McFarland first meets Rourk at the shipyard and, later, is his superior officer at the officer’s-training-school. Rourk fails to get his Ensign’s commission, and then finds he has been assigned to McFarland’s command at sea. Matters are not helped any by both men being rivals for Louise Ryan, the admiral’s daughter.
Jungle Jim is asked to find a young woman who supposedly lives in the jungle with her pet tiger. It’s believed that she may be the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Martindale, explorers who long ago who were looking for the lagoon of the dead, a place where legend has it witch doctors held human sacrifices. Some of the locals, particularly the witch doctor Hakim, believe she is a she-devil who is out to cause them harm. As well Barton, an gold-hunting explorer, is also looking for the girl and lagoon which he believes contains a treasure of gold. Jungle Jim will have to fight several jungle animals along the way before he rescues the girl from Hakim.
