Period drama set in Montreal in 1925. Tells the story of a six-year-old boy, David, his grandfather, a horse called Ferdeleh and the comic-tragic ambitions of the boy’s father who wants to become a rich man.

    I have profoundly moving memories of this remarkable movie and must take steps to see it again. I read that it has been remasted on DVD and have no hesitation to recommend it to any serious film enthusiasts. Great story of growing up with a memorable Grandfather.
