The film is a humorous lecture on the internal structure of a dachshund. Parodying popular lectures at the same time, it contains a message about the superiority of the products of living organisms’ techniques and calls for respect for the environment.
Evening. Two contemporary teenage girls, Blanca and Pauline, living in an old manor house, are watching a television programme about the sexual life of people and of animals. Surprised by Bianca’s father who returns late at night they quickly change channels. The film they then see is composed of old archive material and forms the start of their journey into the past.

Censored by the Polish authorities, the film was reedited and new footage added by Skolimowski in 1981, merging an introduction in color shot at the time and the 1967 feature in his original B&W with a new director’s cut.

A student helps a perplexed woman in the hallway of a medical clinic. Having learned about her difficult life situation, he decides to help her. He involves his mother and all his strength. It turns out that love is not enough to help the other person.
Zupa is a haunting and surreal look at the routine and obsessive coexistence of marriage; where the couple is condemned to repeat every act, every gesture, every mechanical caress; she is condemned to drink from the same soup, albeit from a different plate… until the routine is derailed and everything is over.
Set during the World War I in a prison cell. A newspaper satirist, a safecracker and a clerical murderer have been loaded into a common cell until the investigation into their supposed crimes has been finished. The journalist takes copious notes on the situation hoping to publish them later as a novel. The writer catches typhus and in his feverish delirium is no longer able to distinguish between the reality and fantasy of his writing.
