When on-the-rocks couple Florrie and Chet Keefer come before Judge Anne B. Carroll and request a divorce, Carroll asks the Keefers to recount for her the story of their marriage, in hopes that the troubled couple will recall what it was that brought them together in the first place. What follows is a turbulent tale filled with jealousy, pain, frustration and distrust — in other words, the perfect recipe for love.

Seize the Time was shot in the United States following the activities of the Black Panther Party. Antonello Branca’s film blends fiction and documentary. One only professional actor, Norman Jacobs, goes through simbolic pop visions of american imperialism set against real images like police combings, students marches, drills, interviews. it is an America where black people and above all Pathers are killed and repressed according to a precise plan. The film should have been screened at the Venice Film Festival but Branca prefered to withdraw it due to the unacceptable conditions set by the festival direction.
The ‘imperfections’ of filmmaking, which are normally suppressed, are at the core of a work that uses a brief loop made from a Kodak colour test. “The dirtiest film ever made,” is one of the earliest examples of the film material dictating the film content. 14-year-old Jurek spends his summer holidays in his Silesian hometown of Borzechów. The boy gets into a conflict with a group of peers bullying their weaker colleagues. He is also shaken by the mysterious disappearance of his mother, who has allegedly gone away to a sanatorium. Unexpectedly, he falls in love with Elżbieta, a girl from Warsaw. The new experiences accelerate his coming of age and turn him into a responsible, courageous man. The end of summer holidays becomes a symbolic end of his childhood.
