City Commissioner Frank Kelly commits suicide after political boss Jim Blake frames him in Blake’s own grafting racket. Kelly’s daughter Wanda, who is in love with Blake’s son Tom, vows revenge against Blake when he insists innocent men do not commit suicide.

This innovative and darkly humorous Korean outing features neither pigs nor wells. The film was written by four writers, each of whom was in charge of developing one character apiece. After each basic plot was created, the director allowed the actors to improvise. The four characters are an unsuccessful novelist who hates himself, his icy girlfriend, her salesman husband, and a pretty ticket taker at the local cinema who secretly loves the writer.
A boy claims he was thrown off the school bus by the conductor, obliging him to walk several miles home. Alerted by the boy’s neighbour the local press makes an issue of the incident, with tragic repercussions.
