After winning the “most virgin” contest, Miss Canada is married to a rich milk tycoon. But she quickly flees the marriage to experience the world around her, full of sweetness and anarchy. With its lewd abandon and sketch-comedy perversity, Sweet Movie became both a cult staple and exemplar of the envelope pushing of 1970s cinema.

Awesome and crazy Movie.
Merci 💖🎁🎉
People who use the word awesome are fools.
I don’t understand why you felt the need to insult someone here. If you don’t approve of their choice of words, just scroll past and go about your business. There is no call for rudeness.
good reply Velvetwhip to Bazza unnessary remark. Bazza had no right to insult anyone.
Yugoslav Pink Flamingos, without the entertainment.
Uh, this is in print on dvd as part of the Criterion Collection. Not to be a drag but should it be here on rarefilmm?
You’re right, John, I thought it was out of print but I see it’s still available, anyway, being such a criminally underseem gem I’ll leave it up as an exception, if it gets a Bluray/4K release I’ll remove it but I don’t think it will happen for a couple of years at least.
I didn’t really see a sensible story or plot, but the nudity and sexuality was what really made me rate this as 5-Stars. I watched the follow-up video with the director, and that was very interesting too.
I’ll be watching this.
