Notorious international jewel thief Jack Rhodes is out to steal $30 million in uncut diamonds in this visually opulent, uneven comedy. Chief Inspector Cyril Willis is Rhodes’ nemesis. He wants to retire from Scotland Yard but would like to capture Rhodes as a final, dramatic cap to his career. In order to achieve his ambition, he sets up lissome Gillian Bromley as Rhodes’ erstwhile partner in crime. The unpredictable happens when Rhodes and Bromley fall for each other, leaving the best-laid plans open to unexpected amendments.

A member of a New York City vaudeville troupe inherits property in Las Vegas and, upon arrival, is thrown in jail for bringing livestock into Nevada without a license. THe livestock consists of a crate of pigeons—trained birds with which one of the girls does her variation of a fan dance. Upon release, they learn the property is a ramshackle building, but decide to make a nightclub out of it. Hitting the jackpot in one of the casinos provides the needed money…but many, many complications ensue.

However, in this comedy, there are occasions when he simply cannot bring himself to pull the trigger and make a “hit.” Instead, he adopts the boy who would have fallen to his gun, and trains him in the niceties of the assassin’s game. He is assigned to kill an art forger  who is much too cute for such a fate. When he adopts her as well, things really start to get out of hand.

He has been living in the dungeon of a castle for 400 years, and he can separate himself from his skeleton, which walks and talks as if it’s a separate person. Perez was not a good man; he had spent his life taking advantage of innocent young women. He choose to commit suicide instead of accepting punishment for his crimes. Because Perez repented at the last moment before he died, God has granted him four chances to save his soul.
