    45:04 🤔👍

    A spinster dreaming/fantasising anout a Ken-lookalike boyfriend.

Not a bad movie, but you gotta be prepared for a slooooooow ride.

I guess people felt different about time passing in the 70ies. Life was less hectic then, so a movie running only 77 minutes but feeling like 107 was no problem back then. But honestly, if you are patient, then this is worth a look!

Is it just me or is that lanky fellow getting taller and taller as the movie progresses?

Or is our female lead, the spinster, shrinking?

    🤔🤔

I also like the look of this movie, like the 8mm clips my parents shot on holiday in the 70ies. It even has that grain of dirt in the gamera lens. 👍👏 Naturalistic filmmaking at its best. 👍

Anyone got an idea, why this is titled A CITY’S CHILD? There are no children in this … just dolls… DOLL KILLER would be more appropriate. 😂

I also like the music. It was actually released in a – nowadays very rare and expensive – 33rpm soundtrack LP on Havoc HST 4002 (Australia 1972).

Now I gotta see sth. faster moving …
