The Journalist (1979)


A Sydney newspaper reporter has a problem: women find him irresistible. Separated from his wife and daughter, he has an ongoing relationship with a colleague and numerous other affairs. Juggling this complicated life, he encounters further difficulty when a pompous political writer becomes editor of his newspaper.

    libidinous lothario with a token of character gets caught out in the rain of regan and thatcherism. suspect the rupert murdoch ref wouldn’t reach many as this is such a bedroom romp fantasy that any search for content is merely to justify looking at these polished, air-brushed and blow-dried cuties that remind us of how damn sexy the disco era was.
