Thank you so much, Jon! My first film I requested, and well worth the wait. Delvaux is one of the greatest surrealist directors, and this one has eluded me up ’til now.

Don’t be fooled by the dry start, this is vintage Delvaux: mesmerizing, frightening, enigmatic as well as brilliantly filmed. Surreal yet tangible, it captures perfectly the strange mystery of certain train journeys and their ability to conjure the past and perhaps even the future!
