Two professional motocross riders head out on a pleasure ride from Mexico to Canada. Along the way they run into various characters like a junkyard woman, two horny hippy chicks and a teen rider and his girlfriend. When one of the bikers makes eyes at the teen’s girl he’s challenged to a race.
It’s 1865 in Missouri, and the Civil War has just ended. Rebel soldiers Hollis and Matt flee from Union soldiers that want to imprison them. Hollis then frees a black man named Duncan from a lynching, and they become a trio. Later, when Hollis wins a lot of money at the pool table and Matt doesn’t get any, the two soldiers become enemies. This leads to a showdown between Hollis and Duncan against Matt and the men he has brought in to get that money.
The controversial, sexy, surreal story of a messenger and his journey and encounters with many historical events and people like Auschwitz, the Ku Klux Klan, Frida Kahlo, Cortés and Emiliano Zapata (as a beautiful woman!).

Experiencing something of a mid-life crisis after his beloved son marries and moves out, a factory worker makes some drastic changes in his life, moves in with the boy and his wife, and sets them all on the path to a communal lifestyle. This film is one of director Claude Faraldo’s explorations of assaults on conformity, which he explored more adventurously in his later film Themroc.
When a rich man dies, some items from a collection of his are stolen- an ancient Egyptian gold amulet and the mummy that was wearing it. The police consult scholars from the local University to help with the investigation, which is taking a more serious turn as people connected with the case are killed by wounds that seem to be from a housecat.
