William Nicholson’s dramatization based on the true story of the race to solve the riddle of DNA. The film reveals how Crick and Watson’s success depended on personality, friendships, emotional conflict and enmity fuelled by wild guesses, some borrowing and sheer luck.

Wow, what a find! This wonderful docudrama has long been unavailable to the general public. Thank you!
Brilliant. Thanks for putting this film up. And such a great copy, too.
I watched this film when I was 13 and was captivated by the story.
Btw, some of the scenes were not filmed in Cambridge. Most notably the scene where the doltish boatman collides with the two lovers canoodling under the weeping willows. That, and the bit immediately after were filmed on the grounds of Christchurch College and the adjacent Christchurch meadow in Oxford, if I’m not mistaken.
Beautiful place.
Anyway, good show putting this here for anyone to watch.
