October 1970: Under the pretext of waging war against the terrorist group Front de libération du Québec, the Canadian Parliament passes the War Measures Act. The Police and the Army use it and try to break-up popular groups in the Province of Quebec. More than 400 people are arrested for what appears to be their social activities. No charges are ever filed against them. This is their story.
Conductor Claude Eastman marries Daniella, a younger woman. When Claude goes on tour, his buddy Norman misunderstands his request to make sure Daniella stays faithful and hires private eye Jess Keller to tail her. Returning to New York City, Claude receives a report from Jess that Daniella has been spending a suspicious amount of time with violinist Maxmilian Stein and grows murderously jealous.

She goes to an enchanted castle in the woods and meets Netvor, a bird-like monster. As Netvor begins to fall in love with Julie, he must suppress his beastly urge to kill her.
In 1963, 22-year-old Bertrand Blier invited 11 of his peers to come to a film studio and talk about their lives. The record of what was said, Hitler? Connais pas!, is a discussion of values that remains relevant and fascinating today. The footage was shot just five years prior to May 1968, and the atmosphere of that time is clearly discernible: these young people may not yet be revolutionaries, but there is clearly a ferment in the air.
For fear of enduring genital mutilation, a group of girls flee their own “purification” ceremony and take refuge with Collé, a woman who had spared her daughter from the same fate. Collé casts a spell to protect the girls, which causes much consternation among among the village elders. In retaliation, they confiscate all radios from the women villagers and demand that the spell be broken, but Collé nevertheless holds fast.
Captain Darman is a communist party hitman now living peacefully in exile in England where he runs a bookshop in Brighton. That is until a visitor gives him a coded message summoning him back to Spain where he’s instructed to execute a traitor. As he prepares for the hit he starts to doubt the guilt of his target as it bears similarities to a previous hit which he now thinks was innocent.
Magda is the unwed daughter of a white South African farmer. Spending much of her time looking after her father, Magda leads an uneventful and isolated life, largely avoiding other people. However, that changes when Magda discovers that her father has been having an affair with one of the farm’s African workers. Unable to handle the revelation that her dad has a mistress, Magda takes surprisingly drastic and violent action.
Two sailors dock in London in search of a good time during their short stint on land. But when one of them fatally stabs a man during a scuffle in a bar, the pair flee the scene, commandeer a boat and take the three women on board hostage as they try to outrun the law.
