A trio of young men leave a piano by the beach while chasing love interests. Several beach-goers have a go at playing creating an impromptu concert.
Director: István Szabó.
Stars: Géza Berczy, Tamás Eröss, Klára Falvay, Katalin Gyöngyössy, László Horesnyi, Gábor Koncz, Lajos Németh, Sándor Siménfalvy, Erika Szegedi, Péter Szász, Judit Tóth, Ferenc Zentai.

I don’t think this is an Oscar nominee. The Academy database lists The Concert as an American film directed and produced by Ezra Baker.
It is, on IMDB you can see Ezra Baker listed as the producer as you mention.

Also in country says “Hungary | USA”, probably a co-production.
Hi Jon.
My wife says I’m like a dog with a bone, not to mention anal-retentive and other choice adjectives.
So I contacted AMPAS for a clarification and surprise! they answered within a few hours. Here is the response:
“Thank you for your message. In regards to your inquiry these are the following notes I found on this title in our records:
Per notes on our system on this title:
“Country of origin United Kingdom in AA database. IMDb has as Hungary-US production, directed by Istvan Szabo. There is no connection between the short film KONCERT (1962), directed by Szabo, and the nominated short film directed by Ezra Baker.”
Thanks for the research, Bernard, that is very interesting, I guess IMDb is wrong which doesn’t surprise me, they should fix it.
I have removed the Oscar nominee note from the post.
Best,
Jon.
“There is no connection between the short film Koncert (1962), directed by Szabo, and the nominated short film directed by Ezra Baker.” Hmmm. All the references I’ve seen to Ezra Baker list him as the producer of the Oscar nominated “Koncert” directed by Mr. Szabo. The only other Ezra Baker I’ve found was listed at Wikipedia as a member of the House from New Jersey in the early 19th century. “Koncert” was a student film so I can’t help but wonder whether or not Szabo needed a “producer,” nominal or otherwise, to qualify the film for Oscar consideration. Anyway, if someone can find a “Koncert” directed by Ezra Baker, I’d sure be interested in seeing it.
This is indeed the short film nominated as Best Short Subject (Live Action) at the 36th Academy Awards. Directed by Istvan Szabo (Hungary) and produced by Ezra R. Baker (United States). As per imdb, the film was distributed by Go Pictures of the UK-based George K. Arthur in partnership with the US-based James A King Corporation. The advice that “Country of origin United Kingdom in AA database” reflects control of the film ultimately lying with George K. Arthur’s Go Pictures (United Kingdom). As per the Oscar database, the same producer Ezra Baker (aka Ezra R. Baker) had previously won in the same category for “Day of the Painter”. Meanwhile, George K. Arthur had previously won in the same category for “The Bespoke Overcoat” and his Go Pictures had been responsible for distributing the Dutch language short “Glass”, also nominated.
The short film I posted is the one directed by István Szabó but wasn’t nominated for an Oscar, there was a confusion because both short films won awards and had the same title but this one is not the Oscar nominated film directed and produced by Ezra R. Baker. A journalist friend in Hungary asked Szabó himself and he cleared it out:
