Many thanks to Steve for sending me a copy of this short film.
Sweet little humanistic film dealing with a real human problem. Beautifully made. Thanks to you Jon & you Steve for your love of cinema in all shapes & sizes.
What a sweet, lovely little film. Maureen O’Sullivan was a treasure.
This is the kind of film they used to play in classrooms during the 1960s and 70s. The fact that they got Maureen O’Sullivan to play the grandmother here tells me something about what we, as a culture, believed about the possibilities of cinema as a teaching tool in those days. This is a sweet little film. And a Oscar nominee to boot.
