excellent film to have in your collection
This is one of my favorite French films ever. It’s just a delight.
One of the most beautiful films ever. This was released just 2 weeks before Jules et Jim and is the reverse of that scenario in a contemporary setting- two girls and a guy. Not surprising that Truffaut loved it so much as did Godard and Rohmer. This film is the epitome of French New Wave less-is-more poetry.. The magnificent soundtrack, the amazing shots, how great the three leads are, how well they work together and how natural and real they are “gaming” each other back and forth. Just this film by itself justifies getting an all-region player.
Oh dear, magnificent soundtrack? Unwatchable!
