This was so hard to track down for a long time, as the only accessible version for years was a poor (though well intended) YouTube upload. RareFilmm’s version clears up the picture and the audio/visual are much more in sync. This felt like watching the movie on TV back in the late 90s as it premiered. Wonderful visual storytelling by Julie Dash, too, with a powerful yet tender performance duet from Woodard & Devine. Long live the television movie, and a heartfelt thank you to Jon & crew for locating this.
