In April 1941, the Third Reich declared war on Yugoslavia. The war campaign lasted 12 days, days of collapse and chaos. “Tri” narrates three stories before, during, and at the end of the conflict with the same protagonist, named Milos Bojanic.

    Yikes! Why is this cropped!! The film is shot in 1.37:1. This 16:9 version mutilates the image — certainly not worthy of the “upgrade” label!

      IMDb information is wrong about the aspect ratio on this one, this film was most likely shot in 15:9, not 1.37:1 so this widescreen copy resembles more the original aspect ratio than the old 4:3 DVD copy. You can check a scene here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnrvH8k12qw and compare it with the HD copy presented here (go to 17:25) the YT version has more picture on the top but you can see it’s heavily cropped on the right side as well as a bit on the left side.
