Yesterday (1985)


Set in the 60’s. In a small provincial town in Poland, a group of teenagers who are fans of the Beatles, and use their names to address each other, decide to put on a concert of Beatles’ hits for their school mates, but things don’t go according to plan.

    Thanks for sharing this. I like to watch anything remotely Beatles related (not always with great results), but this one sounds great.

    It looks like in 60s Poland, you could see the Beatles in newsreels but you couldn’t buy the records over the counter. Why did the uber-military rapist join the band?
