Note: Nere’s a nice little treat for you guys, the original, fully restored Czech version of Ectasy, this restoration was done in 2019 and it won the Venezia Classici Award for Best Restored Film in last year’s Venice Film Festival. As you can read in the opening seconds of the film several different sources had to be combined as the original elements were not preserved.

Ah, topless Hedy Lamarr. Good movie. Probably should go under the “Erotic” tag.

With the untold number of films I have seen in the appreciable length of my life, I somehow never got around to ECSTASY. Wow. What an interesting film! So glad I was able to first see it in this beautiful restoration. Thanks, Jon.
