Thank you for these interesting and rare films!
As the end credits mention, this is based on “It happened in broad daylight”,a really good West German film. This felt like it was also inspired by the style of Bela Tarr, who is also mentioned in the credits as a consultant
Exquisite.
Along with Sátántangó and the Werckmeister Harmonies I didn’t feel as if I watched this movie but that I *lived* it.
What a soundtrack….
The score for this is an absolute revelation,
Any way of getting this updated to HD? I know it exists in higher resolution from Arbelos and Second Run. I’d love to see this, but would be a bit sad to see it only in 360p.
