Captain Darman is a communist party hitman now living peacefully in exile in England where he runs a bookshop in Brighton. That is until a visitor gives him a coded message summoning him back to Spain where he’s instructed to execute a traitor. As he prepares for the hit he starts to doubt the guilt of his target as it bears similarities to a previous hit which he now thinks was innocent.

Notre-Dame Cathedral is the support of an ecstatic vision: the convulsions of the camera and the frenzy of the editing, accompanied by loops of liturgical and noisy music, dematerialize the monument, transforming it into flashes of colour, lines and fleeting forms.
When recently retired train operator Wladyslaw Orzechowski is struck and killed by a train, railroad investigators interview those who worked with him to determine whether the death was accidental — or perhaps murder. The investigators learn immediately that Orzechowski was disliked by both his younger coworkers, whom he bullied, and the management, whom he despised. But as the investigation continues, other surprising and unexpected sides of Orzechowski come to light.

Lastly, Hung was dumped by her boyfriend Daviv because the thought of her working at the mortuary doesn’t appeal to him. When Hung does the unthinkable to escape the pain, Daviv finds himself facing retribution.
