Co-directed by Godard with the Dziga Vertov group in 1969, ‘Pravda’ is a direct attack to revisionism and socialist imperialism. With his usual heterogeneous collage of images taken from real life, the film is structured in a sort of letter that a man writes to a woman called Rosa from Bulgaria and later from Czechoslovakia.

Invitation Au Voyage is a film that stays with you for a long time. The story involves a pop singer who dies, electrocuted in a tub of milk. Her twin brother/lover drains the milk into bottles, stuffs her body in a cello case, straps it to the top of his car and embarks on a road trip of the strangest kind.
Suzanne wants to marry Victor and have children with him. Victor on the other hand isn’t interested in becoming a husband or a father. While he cannot be bothered into complying with her wishes, their mutual friend Francois would be happy to do so. Consequently Suzanne eventually turns to Francois. This leaves Victor no other choice than to change his mind if he wants Suzanne back.
A sophisticated tramp lives during summer in a half-finished construction site. Because he doesn’t want to be cold in the winter, he decides to get imprisoned on time. Therefore, he demolishes a bar but he is only incarcerated for a single week. He promises he will find a way to come back.
Michel is a young technician in the fledgling TV industry and is due for military service in two months at the time of the Algerian War. Juliette and Liliane are inseparable best friends, and aspiring actresses, who hang around outside the TV studio. Michel invites them in to watch, flirts with them both, and dates them separately and together. When Michel goes on a holiday to Corsica, just before he is drafted, the girls follow.
In France during World War II, a poor and illiterate man, Henri Fortin, is introduced to Victor Hugo’s classic novel Les Misérables and begins to see parallels between the book and his own life.
A renowned doctor and his brother live and work together until the brother falls in love with Marie, a singer, and gives up medicine to be with her. After a time however, she misses her old life and goes back on the stage – an act which leads her lover to commit suicide. Later the doctor and Marie also meet, and she becomes his mistress. He finds out about his brother’s suicide and goes through his artifacts looking for a clue as to what might have been the cause. He finds a photograph of Marie and realizes the truth, which decimates their relationship.
