    A strong unconventional indictment on how Arabs and the people of the entire middle east are misrepresented by the western media in the form of stereotypes both in the news and pop culture. They have been both been portrayed as bloodthirsty terrorists or just primitive people who can’t speak for themselves. Edward Said’s writings about orienatlism comes to mind

    This would also make a good companion piece to Jack Shaheen’s more straightforward documentary “Reel bad Arabs” which focuses on Hollywood’s anti-Arab/anti-Palestinian propaganda. Check that one out too if you haven’t already
