    Hauntingly sad film. Those poor old ladies seem to be just abandoned by their families. That’s just tragic. ✶✶✶

    Fascinating early Paul Cox effort. Cox one of Australia’s top directors. He was a polished immigrant who came to Australia and made a fine career for himself
