THE SKIN HORSE is an outspoken consideration of a subject not readily discussed on television: the emotional and sexual life of disabled people. This unusual program makes that subject real to viewers by allowing them into the lives of several severely disabled individuals. As we watch, many of our conceptions — and misconceptions — about disability are stripped away.

A wonderful, delicate film offering so many new insights into a world alien to most of us. And made with incredible sensitivity and compassion. It will open so many eyes.
Thankyou for posting, Jon!
As of this date, it appears that the hackers, who are against anything that talks about sex in any way but what the right wing approve of, have hacked into and ruined this film! My rating was based on what the film subject was, and the way it was presented until it was messed up. What a sad state of affairs!!!
Hi,
I saw this film when it was aired around the time of the production. I had a copy on a VHS, but it no longer usable. I have recommended to many people but it has been very hard to find. I recommended it again to someone today and am thrilled I found your website, and least they will be able to watch the film, which is groundbreaking from a psychological and humanistic perspective. I would love to download a copy, which is no longer available at the link provided. Thank you!
