Reconstruction of the state’s massacre of Bolivian tin miners that took place on ‘The Night of San Juan’ in 1967 in an attempt to break the re-organization of the radical left. The film uses the miners themselves to act out the reconstruction.

Gus and Bruno are two hard-working, mismatched jewel thieves who dream of scoring it big. Professor Jorge Serra Hamilton, an American scientist specialist in the atomic bomb, flees from their transcendental duties, in order to take shelter incognito and for a time in the idyllic Spanish village of Calabuch, a small village on the Mediterranean shores. Oblivious to the relevance of their occasional guest, local residents spend their time engaged in their modest daily chores. The affable professor Hamilton not only integrates perfectly into the small town of Calabuch, forging a deep friendship with its neighbors, but there he will find happiness he craved for.
A man and his mistress have just taken off for a weekend romp when they’re kidnapped by a trio of bank robbers. They wind up becoming media “stars” as police and reporters follow them. They all wind up at the beat-up shack of a cranky old codger, with the police surrounding them and the robbers threatening to kill everybody.
Concert promoter Nick Loomis is sent to Sydney by his ex father-in-law and boss Garth Kingswood, and asked to deliver a briefcase to a foreigner. When the man is killed in the airport, Loomis ends up entangled in corporate spying and is forced to fight for his life with the help of Terry McKenna, a woman from Austin working for the Sydney Opera House.
