This two-part BBC documentary is written and narrated by Lindsay Anderson. It follows Ford’s film life using clips and interviews with Ford and some of his associates in filmmaking as well as some of the stars of his films It is a sympathetic but not uncritical view of Ford’s work. Highly recommended.
