The main female character meets William Shakespeare and feeds him some of his own lines, which he eagerly writes down. A costume-production, (many of which are immaculate), which makes extensive use of the Gainsborough wardrobe.
Struggling hippie independent filmmaker Mick gets his big break after he finds out that his girlfriend Marlene’s father Burt is a movie producer. Unbeknown to Mick, Burt only specializes in porno pictures. Mick cranks out a cruddy science fiction stinker in three days for Burt, who demands countless changes and has a hard time figuring out how to distribute Mick’s lousy movie.
Ahn is a suicidal saxophonist, Mun is a violent simpleton with an I.Q. of 80, and Maria is a single mother with dreams of becoming a nun. Ahn has tried numerous times to kill himself but nothing has ever worked. When he witnesses his wife’s infidelity, it is the last straw. He gets a call from Mun, and both decide to take things into their own hands by robbing a café at gunpoint. They run into Maria, who is determined to find her baby who has been taken from her. Maria decides to use the two men to get her baby back and joins the team.

She is soon fired, but is pursued by the producer who has fallen in love with her. Songs include: “Find Yourself a Melody,” “I’ll Never Let a Day Go Past,” “Kiss the Boys Goodbye,” “That’s How I Got My Start,” and “Sand in My Shoes.”
Janet is an overweight girl who has a knack for making the other children in school laugh… by making fun of her own weight. In seeing the other kids’ reaction, she feels that she might have a career as a comedian. She visits the local comedy club, where she finds Tony Moroni, a struggling comedian whose jokes often fail. Together, Tony helps Janet build self-esteem and she helps him with his material.
A comedy about a thirty-something man, named Victor who is to perform in a town, after having left group therapy. Victor cleverly bases his diatribes on the handful of locals who attend his performance. As his monologue coils out, his stories accurately reflect the audience’s own lives, offering glimpses of themselves which irrevocably shift their relationship with each other.
