I didn’t know a copy of this was available. Can’t wait to see it again..Stellar cast including a young Robert Redford. Jason Robards’ Hickey is just terrific.
This is wonderful! So is the later one directed by John Frankenheimer in 1973. Although, this proves the ascendancy of Robards as Hickey, time has been kind to Lee Marvin’s performance in the later film. He’s also surrounded by great ensemble support as Robards is in this. I’m glad I’ve seen both.
