I think this short film was released on DVD in Italy, not 100% sure but the DVD copy I found had very muffled audio especially the background music so I used one I found on Youtube instead which sounded much better.
The translation of the title is mistaken:
“Passeggiere” (whether for Leopardi or Olmi) is a passer-by, not a passenger.
