Is it just me, or does it seem like Quentin Tarantino lifted the plot of this movie for “The Hateful Eight?”
From a great Bret Hart story to yet another Hollywood standard western/romance. Despite a solid cast & great cinematography that starts the film with a wonderful film noir look, the film devolves into a terribly scripted love story that makes almost no sense. The plus, of course, is Jon’s wonderful effort to bring it to us; I have been seek-ing this one, a very tough Anne Baxter & Miriam Hopkins film to find, for a long time. Thanks Jon.
