In Stockholm, on St. Lucy’s feast day, a bandit daringly robs a crowded post office. Within a fortnight, two witnesses are dead. Two cops from vice squad, Johansson and Jarnebring, who were the first to the crime scene, pursue all leads and identify a suspect, an arrogant member of the elite secret police, a man assigned to guard the country’s Minister of Justice. Just as the beat cops think they’ve tightened the noose around the suspect, loose ends appear, witnesses lose their certainty, alibis crop up, and even the cops doubt what they’ve seen. Who’s protecting the suspect and why?

14:34 🤣😂😅 after such a “witness” ….
33:22 Man, this movie is REALLY ahead of its time! 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
So true!!!!!!
I also never eat at McDirt!
Easily better than Widerbergs’ MAN ON THE TOP from a few years ago. This here is more focused, has a better script and story (drawn from real events) and is simply more relevant than a sniper shooting from a building. This is like the movies Alan J. PAKULA made in the 1970ies and I am pretty sure it is close to truth.
I am now gonna watch CALL GIRL from 2012, also a Swedish movie which tackles the same events.
I just finished watching CALL GIRL (2012) by Mikael Marcimain and wanna recommend it HIGHLY as a very insightful and utterly compelling movie.
Based in fact it shows how underaged girls are “recruited” from the bottom of society to be forced into sex slavery in the “golden west”. How politicians and the rich degrade and kill people for their own pleasure and to get away from punishment. The ending g is a SHOCK nonetheless.
And don’t be mistaken, it has never stopped, it still happens right while I am typing this and while you are reading this. It happened and happens constantly. I only point to the filthy people called ” Royals” in the USSK.
It just takes a few decades until the truth is revealed …
CALL GIRL is a very relevant movie and will continue to be.
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, 10/10.
