Most excellent, Jon! A rare find.
Wowzer! Thanks Jon!!!
Thank you for always coming up with surprises. Excellent upload, my friend.
Huh? Is it possible she “does not accept the sexual commitments” less because she is repressed but because he is the kind of man who can attempt to rape two women, one a teenager, over the course of the film? I don’t think this movie dates well.
Excellent movie. Of course the story could not take place today as is. It is about a woman who is strong, determined and full of love for her deceased sister’s children, but who, despite all the circumstances and even the encouragement of the priest, cannot and will not break out of convention. Women in our society today would – hopefully – be able to decide more freely.
