Good find, Jon. Hadn’t heard of this one before. It was good, if slightly moralizing.

A good film—a sometimes awkward combination of expressionism, neo-realism and film noir. Loads of atmosphere—and a pervading sense of doom. Noir to the nth degree! Powerful stuff.
