A charming telling of a simple story of the earth, the cycles of time & the nature of love well told. Thanks Jon for this rare treat.

This wonderful little film has so much to recommend in it. The opening Paris sequences seems to be about the utterly charming and mobile faces of French children who are without any of the self consciousness of trained actors. Maurice Touze’s performance is a marvel-his perfect mimicry of Maurice Chevalier is a wonder. The film in our troubled times is restorative as love and goodness and the enduring earth finds its way to reclaim life.
Can’t thank you enough Jon for this film.
