“Hardtack” Hamilton runs a U.S. Army training ground for bomber pilots near the Panama Canal, but he hasn’t had a pilot like Harley Ames, a reckless but qualified flyer who makes life hard for Hamilton. Ames causes trouble when he makes a move on Hamilton’s woman, Susan, and then gets into an accident, killing a pilot. Can Ames redeem himself with Hamilton and the squadron?
