A show-biz couple inherit a college on the brink of bankruptcy. In a bid to increase funding they attempt to build up the college football team by offering $1,000 for every touchdown scored.
Two married men who neglect their wives become concerned when they begin spending time with Leonard Drummond, a handsome and charming novelist with a notorious reputation as a womaniser. They hatch a plan to see if their wives are conducting affairs which involves pretending to go to Paris then returning unexpectedly. However complications ensue when their car breaks down on the way back from Newhaven. The long night that follows really becomes a test of the fidelity and love of their wives.
This comedy-drama by George Marshall revolves around the amorous entanglements of four G.I. photographers on leave in Japan from their last mission in the Korean War. The men, headed by officer Andy Cyphers check into a house with four resident geishas and immediately misunderstand what a geisha does for a living. Once they get straightened out about the musical, cultural, and educational background of geishas — and after spending some time with the four women, the men begin to pair off.

Remake of Jules et Jim following the experiences over a decade of two friends who fall in love with the same woman, enjoyably satirising the 70’s through the search by the three protagonists for their identities and making sharp attacks on cultural signposts of the decade along the way. The film also studies relationships, what its director calls “wanting something permanent yet wanting to be free”.
Fernard Bornard, the director of the botanical gardens of Paris, is deeply haunted by his fear of suffering and death. When Fernand’s son is brutally killed by the Nazis, he brings his grand daughter Philippine to live with him. Out of love for her, he leads her to believe that her father is still alive as a hero of the resistance by disguising himself as this war hero.
Three con artists try to fool an African militant by selling him a bogus shipment of arms. Things go awry however, when the three have plotted to double-cross each other in trying to take the money.
