In this thriller, a man committed to an asylum for choking a woman with a scarf breaks out to prove his innocence. The trouble is, he doesn’t realize that he is innocent until he meets a woman wearing a scarf like the one he supposedly used to commit the crime.
Susana Campos plays the title role in Rosaura a las Diez. Actually, when the film begins, Rosaura is pretty much a figment of the imagination of mild-mannered Camilo. Using an old photograph, Camilo invents a sexy girlfriend so as to arouse the interest of his true love, his landlady’s daughter. And then one day, Rosaura shows up in the flesh, and Camilo is forced to marry her.
An actress, Jenny, is hitchhiking across the country when she is accidently struck by a car. The driver, Max Ducone, offers to take her into his home until she can resume traveling. Later Ducone’s wife is murdered and Jenny determines to find the killer. With the aid of detective Curtis, she discovers that Ducone is the murderer, having killed his wife in order to have the funds to finance his antique collection.
