The Great Barrier (1937) AKA Silent Barriers

The building of the great Canadian-Pacific Railroad that stretched from  Montreal to Vancouver is chronicled in this realistic drama. Amidst the country’s wild grandeur, two gambling vagabonds find themselves in a railroad boomtown where they hope to win a lot of the workers’ money.
